Objectives On successful completion of this subject students should have acquired oral communication skills for socialisation. In writing, students should have developed composition skills and through reading students should have developed comprehension and interpretation of reading text.
Synopsis This course is designed to expand students' ability in conversation, moving from simple exchange of information towards social dialogues, expression of feelings, opinions and knowledge in such areas as health and physical condition, travel, weather, sport and leisure, geography etc. The writing component will develop their composition skills in a variety of topics and the reading component will be based on short narratives derived from actual Thai materials.
Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 40% - Oral examination: 30% - Classwork, assignment: 30%
