6 points - 5 hours per week - Second semester - Clayton - Prerequisites: KOR1210 or equivalent

Objectives On successful completion of this subject students should have further developed, based on their first semester work in KOR1210, the ability in speaking and listening to satisfy all everyday social situations, such as narrating personal experiences, enquiring about or expressing knowledge and opinions, and making arrangements. In reading, they should be able to extract information from advertisements and read slightly simplified texts from magazines and newspapers. In writing, they should arrive at the level in which they can write diaries of half a page without difficulty.

Synopsis This is a continuation of KOR1210.

Assessment Examinations (4 hours): 40% Quizzes: 20% Oral tests: 20% Homework and class participation: 20%
