Objectives Students successfully completing this subject should be able to comprehend and produce rich sentences using more sophisticated adverbs, proverbs, various endings and conjunctives; further increase their ability to recognise and write kanji; comprehend spoken Japanese from various sources; read short essays and novels and write a short essay.
Synopsis This is the second part of the three-year accelerated Japanese program. Students are advised to enrol concurrently for JPS1090 (Understanding contemporary Japan).
