Interactive multimedia 2

3 points - 2 studio hours and 4 independent study hours per week - First semester - Caulfield - Prerequisites: DIS2701 and DIS3602 - Elective

Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to conceive, design, coordinate and produce an interactive multimedia project; produce messages or experiences or information in multimedia in an advanced and perceptive manner; critically analyse the content and concept of published and proposed multimedia projects; define, research, develop and coordinate, content for a multimedia project with competence and understanding.

Synopsis This unit allows students to apply their increasing experience, skills, knowledge and creativity to the production of an interactive multimedia project. Students are expected to conceive, design and produce their own major project, as well as having input into, and interacting with others during the development of their project. The assignment parameters allow for students to explore and develop their individual interests and skills. The course is delivered through small group sessions of fifteen students per group.

Assessment Project work: 70% - Journal: 10% - Involvement/contribution: 20%
