Objectives As for CHM3011.

Synopsis CHM3071 is made up from two units from the CHM3011 group along with a proportional amount of laboratory work. A six-point chemistry subject would not be sufficient for entry into the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, nor would it be sufficient for normal selection into chemistry honours.

Assessment Examinations (2 hours maximum; some units assessed by assignment or a combination of assignment, computer tests and examination): up to 70% depending on units chosen
* Laboratory work: 30%
