Sonographic methods 3

Objectives This subject aims to provide students with the requisite knowledge necessary to be able to conduct sonographic examinations of the abdominal organs and related structures.

Synopsis Sonographic cross-sectional anatomy of the abdomen. Sonographic representation of common abdominal pathology. Scanning techniques utilised for the liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, bladder, great vessels, abdominal wall and diaphragm.
