Synopsis Students will be introduced to the discipline of economics as applied to health and choices in the health care sector; the relevance of the discipline of economics, inter alia, to health policy issues; the economic evaluation of health programs, especially in health promotion and prevention. No prior knowledge of economics is assumed.
