Synopsis This subject introduces epidemiology and other research methodologies which may be usefully applied to the investigation of rural health. An emphasis is placed on a belief that the investigative skills of all health practitioners are an integral part of their professional repertoire. The principles of research design are described including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Special requirements Access to personal computer facilities and modem is desirable but not essential. Residential attendance is not required.
