Prerequisites CSC3920 or CSC2920 or other COBOL programming subject, and
CSC3080
Objectives On completion of the subject, students will have an understanding of programming techniques to design, construct, specify and test substantial COBOL programs, the skills to work in teams and the ability to write comprehensive program and technical user documentation.
Synopsis Students will work in teams to develop the specifications for a commercially oriented application and will implement the project in the COBOL programming language. Students will be required to write program and user documentation and to test the system.
Assessment: Practical work 100%
