Objectives The aim of this subject is to identify the issues of manufacturing management and to develop skills to manage people in a manufacturing environment.

Synopsis Introduction to personnel management, organisational forms, nature of management, motivation and leadership. Communications and interpersonal skills, job design. Decision making, project management, economic evaluation of projects, analysing decision alternatives, risk and uncertainty, group decision making. Industrial pricing and bidding on projects.

Assessment Examination: 70%
* Tests and assignment: 30%
