Objectives The student is expected to acquire a knowledge and understanding of the system concept and its application to engineering problems.

Synopsis A brief overview of systems theory followed by detailed study of the systems concept. Detailed consideration and application of the tools of systems analysis, design and specification. Exploration of application generators and using these application generators for producing models of real time systems from the systems specification. Using computer animation tools to validate the models and thus solving the real-time engineering problems.

Assessment Examination: 60%

* Laboratory: 15%
