Objectives To provide the student with an understanding of the fundamental principles of computer networking and the integration of computer and telecommunication networks.

Synopsis Data communications networking, networking techniques, local area networks. Computer communications architecture, protocols, the layered approach, the OSI model. Elements of queuing theory. Integrated services digital network.
