Objectives The student is expected to develop the ability to undertake a literature survey and document an investigation which demonstrates an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a particular aspect of electrical, electronic and computer engineering.

Synopsis This subject is for either the pass or the honours degree. It is intended for students who would prefer a predominantly structured course of lectures and examinations, rather than individual open-ended work. It consists principally of researching some topic on the basis of current literature, although a little laboratory or computational work may be involved.

Assessment Practical and written work: 100%
