Objectives The student is expected to develop an understanding of the interaction between land use, transport and the environment; the methods used to quantify this interaction; the influence of decision makers on the development of urban areas; and the interrelationship between urban regions.

Synopsis A course in urban and regional structure with emphasis on the interaction between transport and land use.

Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 60%
