Transport network models

Objectives The student is expected to acquire knowledge and understanding of the analytic models used to predict the impact of new policies or investments in the transport system.

Synopsis Modelling framework and model development; four step models: trip generation, trip distribution, mode choice and traffic assignment; equilibration, transport land use modelling, environmental impact models.

Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 50%
