Transport policy

Objectives The student is expected to gain an understanding of the formulation and administration of transport policy, including an appreciation of current policy issues. (Students specialising in transport and traffic engineering are required to take this subject).

Synopsis Policy studies, structure of government and decision making processes, role of transport, current issues in transport, the role of the professional.

Assessment Examination (2 hours): 50%
* Assignments: 40%
* Seminar participation: 10%
