Objectives The student is expected to acquire knowledge and understanding of the techniques used to design and undertake traffic and transport surveys.

Synopsis A course in the design, organisation and analysis of surveys of traffic and transport data, including survey types, sample design, survey administration, survey technology, data analysis techniques, and information systems management. (Students specialising in transport and traffic engineering are required to take this subject.)
