Chemical engineering practice I

Objectives The student is expected to acquire increased proficiency in the use of computers for wordprocessing and calculation and to gain knowledge of process equipment including valves and steam traps. He/she is expected to acquire some knowledge of the equipment manufacturers who serve the process industries.

Synopsis Laboratory exercises and problem-solving sessions using computers and plant visits.

Assessment Examinations: 25%
* Assignments: 75%
