The Graduate Certificate in International Business has been developed to provide international and related topics appropriate for graduates seeking to meet continuing international business education requirements. The course is also appropriate for graduates working in other areas who are required to deal on a regular basis with international issues and for those who wish to complete a preliminary course of international business studies.

Applicants require a pass degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution. Applicants without a first degree who have a minimum of six years appropriate employment experience should refer to the section on executive certificates.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Taxation and Business Regulation as to the 1998 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
The Graduate Certificate in International Business is normally completed in one semester of full-time study or two semesters of part-time study.
Evening classes are offered on-campus at the Caulfield campus.
Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of two credit exemptions for subjects considered to be equivalent to particular subjects in the course of study. Please refer to the course director for further details.
Students may choose any four of the following subjects from the international finance and Asian business streams of the Graduate Diploma in International Business. It is advisable to contact the department regarding the scheduling of subjects and, for those planning to articulate to the Graduate Diploma in International Business, to ensure their study requirements are satisfied.
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in International Business may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in International Business.
