Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to articulate the impact of developments in technology on the retail industry, analyse a retail business in terms of key performance indicators in technology and discuss the implications of advances in technology for retail strategic management.

Synopsis This subject challenges students to consider the implications of a rapidly changing work environment, in which the impact of technology will be a major force. Students will develop a critically reflective approach to their analysis of the developments in technology, key performance indicators in relation to retail technology as a competitive tool in the retail industry.

Assessment Assignment (4000 words): 40%
* Paper (3000 words): 30%
* Project (3000 words): 30%
