Objectives Students who complete this subject will be able to understand the criteria which governments and financial institutions and markets use to decide on issues affecting organisations of various types; demonstrate an ability to use appropriate processes to communicate with these target groups; focus communication tools to achieve appropriate objectives.

Synopsis This subject offers students insights into the processes of communication with governments (Federal, State and local) and financial market institutions involves with investor relations, floats, mergers/takeovers. Students will be required to demonstrate the roles which strategically employed communication can contribute in such circumstances.

Assessment Assignment (3000 words): 30%
* Team assignment (3000 words): 30%
* Examination (2 hours): 40%
