Objectives At the completion of this subject students should understand the theories that have shaped managerial thinking and practice; the relationship between management and social science and the moral issues that arise in considerations of management ethics.
Synopsis This subject analyses different schools of thought in management and considers them from both a developmental and contemporaneous perspective. Social, ethical and cultural aspects of management are also considered.
Assessment Written essay (3000 words): 40%
