Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to build on previous knowledge of organisational change processes; demonstrate an understanding of change processes which exist in large organisations, small groups and intrapersonal situations; describe organisation change processes in terms of organisation development theory and the learning organisation; recommend desired changes for planned organisational change.
Synopsis Contents of organisational change; models/frameworks of organisational change; organisational development theory and socio-technical change; the learning organisation; leading and managing change from a systems perspective.
Assessment Essay: 20%
