Dynamic systems modelling

Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to apply system dynamics software tools to construct models and user-friendly interfaces; and demonstrate competence in using models as tools for learning and policy development.

Synopsis Models and the scientific method; modelling complex systems; systems dynamics methodology and modelling; using system dynamics models; the design and operation of `learning laboratories'.

Assessment Individual modelling assignment: 40%
* Team modelling assignment: 30%
* Individual modelling exercise and presentation: 30%
