Objectives On completion of this subject students should demonstrate a detailed understanding of the issues underlying the conducting of rigorous, theoretically correct and practically relevant, business related research.
Synopsis Design of research proposals; the collection of qualitative and quantitative data using a variety of research techniques; applying statistical techniques to the analysis of quantitative data; probability and non-probability sampling designs and ethical issues in business research.
Assessment Two written assignments (up to 4000 words
each): 35%
* End-of-semester test: 15%
* Examination: (3 hours): 50%
