Objectives On completion of this subject students should have a clear understanding and satisfactory working knowledge of the corporate finance function; have the basic analytical ability to evaluate financing and investing policies and proposals; demonstrate competence in business communication through written assessment in this subject.

Synopsis Theory of valuation, capital budgeting, working capital policy, efficient market theory, cost of capital, capital structure and dividend policy.

Assessment Tutorial assessment: 20%
* Examination (3 hours): 80%
