Objectives On completion of this subject students should have developed an advanced understanding of the approval, monitoring and termination stages of lending; credit and its function; loan packaging to achieve an appropriate risk return ratio.

Synopsis Topics include analysis and evaluation of loan applications; customer profitability assessment; business unit performance; loan review and the audit function.

Assessment Assignment (4000 words): 30%
* Examination (3 hours): 70%
