Objectives On completion of this subject participants should be able to demonstrate an understanding of treasury objectives and operations; responsibilities and structures; risk; functions of treasury management; policy familiarisation and management.

Synopsis Topics include objectives of treasury management; cash management and cash flow forecasting; liquidity management; investment opportunities; funding alternatives; interest rate management; credit risk management principles; internal evaluation; international issues and banking management systems.

Assessment Assignment and coursework: 50%
* Examination (3 hours): 50%
