Financial instruments in foreign capital markets

Objectives Students will be able to understand the legal and financial aspects of these instruments and the roles that they play in the markets.

Synopsis Eurobonds; short term debt instruments; medium term notes; zero coupon issues and related instruments; equity and equity linked instruments; asset backed securities and hedging instruments.

Assessment Assignment: 30%
* Examination (3 hours): 70%
