Objectives The objective for this subject is to provide students with an understanding of the developments in modern Vietnamese literature in the periods of the Vietnam war and beyond. At the same time, the students' reading and writing skills enhanced.

Synopsis An advanced level of Vietnamese. Fluency in the Vietnamese language is presumed. This subject is a continuation of VTN1510. It covers the dichotomy of the period 1954- 1975 and the post-unification period.

Assessment Written (2000 words): 25%
