Objectives As for THA2310. This subject aims to enable students to gain fluency in language skills which move towards more formal use of language. Students should acquire social and cultural proficiency in spoken and written Thai. In reading componant comparison of informal and formal use of vocabulary and expression are emphasised.
Synopsis As for THA2310. This subject will develop competence in language communication skills at an advanced level as well as sociocultural understanding of Thailand. This will include a survey of Thai literature and contemporary issues.
Assessment Examinations (2 hours): 40%
* Oral
examination: 30%
* Classwork, assignments: 30%
