Objectives To teach the broad approaches used in social work research, to teach the knowledge and skills used in research in social work practice, including the specialised strategies of social work research.

Synopsis This subject covers the place of research in social work, the processes of social work research the most commonly used social work research techniques, and the skills of social work research.
