Objectives Students completing this subject should have acquired a greater understanding of a specific topic in Hispanic linguistics, culture or literature.

Synopsis This subject enable students to undertake a program of supervised reading, linguistic fieldwork or an approved study abroad program. Students must consult the head of Spanish and obtain his/her approval prior to enrolling in this subject. The written work for this subject will have to be completed in Spanish and will include two assignments of 3000 words each.
