Objectives As for SLA2110 with the following additional objectives. Students should be able to identify the main historical and cultural factors involved in the formation of the Slavic literary languages, and be able to describe the role of these languages in the emergence of the modern Slavic-speaking countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Synopsis As for SLA2110.
Assessment Examination (2 hours): 50%
* Tutorial
paper (500 words): 10%
* Written exercises (2000 words): 40%
* A higher
standard of work will be required of students taking the subject at the
third-year level.
