Objectives As for RSS2090 with the following additional objective. Students would be familiar with some recent theoretical approaches to the analysis of canonical nineteenth-century Russian literary texts.
Synopsis As for RSS2090.
Assessment Essay (3000 words): 45%
* Seminar paper
(1500 words): 25%
* Examination (1.5 hours): 30%
* Students of RSS3090
will be required to select different essay topics and to demonstrate wider
reading than students of RSS2090.
