Objectives

Synopsis As for PLT2632 with the additional objectives that third-year students should have completed more reading, and attained a higher level of theoretical understanding and conceptual sophistication than second-year students.

Assessment Essay (3000 words): 40%
* Tutorial participation: 10%
* Examination (3 hours): 50%
* Third-year students will be required to answer at least one examination question from section `A' of the exam paper which consists of questions that demand a broad overview of the subject and a greater emphasis on the key theoretical concepts of the subject.
