Objectives As for PLT2050, with the additional objectives that third-year students should have completed more reading, and attained a higher level of theoretical understanding and conceptual sophistication than second-year students (see exam requirements).

Synopsis As for PLT2050.

Assessment Tutorial participation: 10%
* Assignment (1000 words): 15%
* Essay (2000 words): 35%
* Examination (3 hours): 40
* Third-year students demonstrate wider reading, and greater understanding by answering exam questions of a higher conceptual standard than those required of second-year students.
