Objectives Students successfully completing this subject will have deepened the understanding given by Metaphysics and Epistemology A, but this time with an emphasis on epistemology. They will have a thorough understanding of recent accounts of knowledge, including internalist and externalist accounts, those that invoke notions of relevant alternatives, and those that make use of contextual elements.
Synopsis As with PHL4840, this subject will further explore foundational issues in metaphysics and epistemology.
