Objectives Upon successful completion of the dissertation, the student is expected to have undertaken advanced research and written a sustained and analytical thesis.

Synopsis The dissertation should be between 12,000 and 15,000 words. Prospective students should see the honours coordinator prior to the commencement of their fourth year in order to have their thesis topic approved. The date by which the dissertation is to be presented will be announced at the beginning of the academic year.
