Solo and duo performance and literature II

Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject students should have gained experience in the performance of a selected repertoire from a wide range of periods at a professional standard, performed music from the solo and chamber repertoire while establishing artistic links between pieces; and undertaken the performance of the set work common to all students presenting for assessment on the same instrument.

Synopsis As for MUS3980, but including a multimovement work performed on the student's chief instrument or voice and a solo program of thirty minutes and a chamber music program of fifteen minutes.

Assessment Written (annotated program booklet): 15%
* Practical (1-hour recital): 85%
