Objectives These will vary, depending on the topic chosen for the dissertation, but, regardless of topic, students will be expected to demonstrate mastery of research techniques, the ability to write objectively and to be coherent in developing arguments, and the ability to discriminate between evidence, interpretation, opinion, and fact in their sources.
Synopsis Preparation of a dissertation under supervision and on a subject chosen by the student in consultation with the supervisor.
