Objectives To introduce students to aspects of advanced linguistic research methodology, and to the presentation of research results.

Synopsis This companion unit to the minor thesis consists of a series of seminar/workshops throughout the year. Major aspects of research methodology are reviewed and students progressively present and discuss major stages of their thesis and the research which underlies it. Regular attendance at the departmental seminars is also an integral part of this unit.
