Objectives As for LAT2230 with the additional Objectives that students should deepen yet further their appreciation and understanding of Latin literature. Students will be expected to show a higher level of sophistication in their approach to the works studied, as well as greater understanding of the literature and cultural context of these works.

Assessment Classwork: 50%
* Examination (3 hours): 50%
* Students will be tested on the translation of additional reading texts.
