Objectives This subject aims at extending the knowledge and skills which students acquired in JWC2010.

Synopsis In this subject which is a continuation from JWC2010, students will be afforded the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and various written and oral skills which they acquired in JWC2010. The literary and non-literary texts will be somewhat more demanding than in JWC2010 and will provide the necessary scope for the continued growth in the subject and the refinement of knowledge and skills.

Assessment Written assignments (4000 words): 43%
* Oral examination: 7%
* Written examination (2000 words): 50%
