Objectives This subject aims at extending the knowledge and skills which students acquired in JWC1010.

Synopsis In this subject which is a continuation from JWC1010 students will be afforded the opportunity to consolidate the oral and written skills which they acquired in JWC1010. Exposure to somewhat more challenging literary and non-literary texts will help sharpen their analytical skills and contribute to a better understanding of the Jewish cultural background and heritage.

Assessment Written assignments (2500 words): 43%
* Oral examination: 7%
* Written Examination (2000): 50%
