Language study abroad program

Objectives Student should undertake a programme of study offered by the host institution and achieve a good level of competency in the designated tasks. They are also expected to take advantage of access to Italian library holdings, and the Italian-speaking academic environment to accomplish a significant amount of research and writing bearing on their dissertation topic. During their stay in Italy, students are expected to comply with deadlines set out for the dissertation, and to maintain contact with their supervisors.

Synopsis An approved semester-length subject at a Italian university. Placement arrangements will be made through the department, which has links with the universities of Florence, Perugia and Siena.

Assessment Students will be required to bring back all written work for assessment
