Objectives As for ENH2800 with the additional objectives of understanding current theories of postcolonial literature and how these parallel developments in postmodern and gender studies.

Synopsis As for ENH2800.

Assessment Seminar presentation (1500 words) and participation: 30%
* Essay (2500 words): 40%
* Class test (2000 words): 30%
* For the essay students doing the subject at third-year level must write on three authors (instead of the two required of second-year level students) and apply the theoretical component to their work.
