* Class participation including class paper, to be handed in in essay form (2000 words): 30%
* Final test (1500 words): 30%
* Third-year level students will be expected to demonstrate, both in class presentation and in written work, evidence of wider reading and viewing and a more sophisticated grasp of theories in relation to national cinema.
