Objectives Students should develop an awareness of publishing issues through an extended research and problem-solving exercise and be offered an extended opportunity for the supervised development and application of publishing skills.
Synopsis This subject is designed to provide an industry-relevant publishing project. The individual project may involve the preparation of a text for publication or it may take the form of insight project based on an industry placement or students may elect to undertake via a reading course a detailed study on some aspect of the publishing industry or publishing history.

Assessment Written work to the equivalent of 6000-7000 words: 100%
