Objectives Students successfully completing this course will have deepened the understanding given by PHM5030 (Metaphysics and epistemology A), but this time with an emphasis on epistemology. They will have a thorough understanding of recent accounts of knowledge, including internalist and externalist accounts, those that invoke notions of relevant alternatives, and those that make use of contextual elements

Synopsis As with PHM5030, this subject will further explore issues in metaphysics and epistemology at an advanced level. A reading list may be obtained from the department.
